Duties:

• Design and develop scalable backend systems using Ruby on Rails
• Architect and implement RESTful and internal APIs
• Design and maintain efficient database schemas (PostgreSQL)
• Implement background processing for asynchronous and batch workloads
• Improve application performance through profiling, caching, and query optimization
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using RSpec and BDD/TDD practices
• Collaborate on frontend integrations using Vue or React
• Debug production issues and improve logging, monitoring, and observability

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (ActiveRecord, transactions, callbacks, background jobs)
• Ability to understand and work with complex system architectures, distributed components, and large codebases
• Strong knowledge of system design principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture
• Strong skills in JavaScript, DOM, and frontend frameworks (Vue or React)
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis ability
• Solid TDD/BDD discipline (RSpec, Jest)
• Experience using common Rails ecosystem and monitoring tools (e.g., Sidekiq, Redis, caching, logging, performance monitoring, and application observability tools)
