Senior Software Engineer - Data - SQL

Duties:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Airflow, Python, and DBT
• Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytics, reporting, and downstream ML/AI use cases
• Implement data quality, validation, and governance best practices
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable data solutions
• Monitor, debug, and optimize workflows for performance and cost efficiency
• Manage integrations across APIs, databases, and third-party systems
• Contribute to automating data infrastructure deployment and management

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, working with Snowflake or similar data warehouse/ETL platforms
• Strong SQL skills and experience building analytical data models
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake development and performance tuning
• Experience with Python or another scripting language for data tasks
• Familiarity with Apache Airflow for orchestrating data workflows
• Working knowledge of DBT for modular, maintainable data transformations
• (Optional) Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or modern data stack tooling (Fivetran, Sigma, etc.)
